Dear Middle School (MS) Parents/Guardians,
Earlier this month, we sent out our customary preliminary athletic sign-up (via email/google form) to all MS students for the Spring 2023 season. This allows us to quantify the level of interest among our student body, initiate the communication process, and begin the collection of health forms. In that google form, we asked students to talk to their parents/guardians about their interests before filling out the google form sign-up.
The following sports are offered to MS students this Spring 2023:
- Boys’ Baseball
- Boys’ Lacrosse
- Girls’ Lacrosse
- Girls’ Softball
- Boys’ Tennis
- Co-Ed Track & Field
As of Tuesday, January 17, we have a significant number of students signed up for each sport, with the exception of MS Boys’ Lacrosse. If we do not increase the numbers for this program we will have to cancel the program for 2023.
If your child is interested in participating in our Spring 2023 season and has not filled out the google form, please ask them to do so via their school email; they can search for this Subject Line: Preliminary MS Spring Sports Sign-up 2023
Here are some helpful dates to add to your calendar (these dates are always subject to change):
* Monday, Jan. 30 — Preliminary MS Spring Sign-ups closed
* Thursday, Feb. 23 — Spring Sports/Activities Offering official sign-ups
* Thursday, March 2 — Spring Sports practices/tryouts begin
* Friday, March 17 – Friday, March 31 — No MS Practices (Off for Spring Break)
* Monday, April 3 — MS practices Resume
* Tuesday, May 23 — Last day for MS Spring games
* Thursday, Feb. 23 — Spring Sports/Activities Offering official sign-ups
* Thursday, March 2 — Spring Sports practices/tryouts begin
* Friday, March 17 – Friday, March 31 — No MS Practices (Off for Spring Break)
