Dear Parents,
Please join us for the 8th grade National History Day fair on Wednesday, December 14th in the middle school building on the 3rd floor porch. There will be two sessions you can attend. A morning session from 9:15-10:05 am. and an afternoon session from 12:30-1:20 pm. You can check with your child to see which session they are assigned to. Projects include historical exhibits, documentaries, performances, websites, and podcasts. If you plan on listening to podcasts, please bring in your own headphones.
National History Day projects require students to choose a topic related to this year’s NHD theme: Frontiers in History. Students conduct research, write a thesis, and create a project that supports their historical argument.
You are invited to peruse the exhibits, ask questions, and learn. Thank you for your support!
