Hello Parents,
It was so great to see many of you last week at our parent forum, we had some really good conversations. Just a quick note to check in about a few upcoming dates. Two imminent events that I hope many of you will attend is the Bulldog Bash this weekend on Saturday, and the 8th grade parent orientation on Monday evening. You should have received an invitation to this event, but during this evening you will meet Ali Miller, the 8th Grade Dean, and learn all about the 8th grade program. I’ll send some longer updates later in May, but for now, here are some key dates and information to keep in mind:
- April 29th — Bulldog Bash Fundraiser for Financial Aid
- May 1st @ 7pm — Evening Orientation to 8th Grade with Ali Miller, 8th Grade Dean. This event will include information about the 8th grade schedule, placements and course selection.
- May 3rd — Class meeting for students (during the school day) about 7th grade course selection
- May 5th — Google form on course selection released to parents along with description of choices (kids should fill it out before May 12th)
- May 12th and 13th – MS Play
- May 16th – Parent Social
- May 19th – Ropes Course Field trip
- June 5th – Letters home from Mr. Davis that include placements for next year into math and language classes and a print out of the information I have recorded for your child about music and discovery class course selections
- June 9th – Clearwater Sailing Trip
- June 13th — Last day is a half day (yearbooks are handed out to all students)
